Sculptra is an injectable collagen stimulator containing microparticles of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA-SCA), Sculptra helps restore facial skin structure, which may provide long-lasting skin improvement.

Typically, you will undergo 2 to 3 treatment sessions over several months. The number of injections per session will vary based on the treatment plan you and your aesthetic professional decide upon.

Recovery time varies from person to person, but most people can resume their normal activities immediately after the procedure. However, it is recommended to avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol consumption for the first 24-48 hours after treatment.

If it is your first time getting the treatment, then a few months would be ideal. You want to make sure you have time for a touch-up visit prior to your event, if needed.

If you have done a specific treatment in the past and are looking for tune-ups prior to an event, it would be safe to come in one month prior. In the event of slow healing bruises, we want to make sure you have time to heal well.

Most people saw results as soon as 1 month, with effects lasting up to 2 years.  Typically, the treatment involves 3 sessions spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart.

Step 1 : Consultation

Your treatment begins with a consultation, where you’ll work with your provider to determine the type of filler, the amount to be used, and treatment areas.

Step 2 : Cleanse & Prep

Prior to administering the injections, your provider will delicately cleanse your skin. In certain treatment regions, they may also apply a topical anesthetic.

Step 3 : Sculptra Injections

Subtle amounts of SCULPTRA® poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA-SCA) collagen stimulator are carefully administered into your treatment areas, tailored to your consultation and individual objectives.

Before Your Treatment

Refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages the evening prior to your appointment. Refrain from taking aspirin and NSAIDs (such as Advil, Motrin, Aleve) for one week before your treatment to minimize the risk of bruising.

After Your Treatment

Apply Arnica Gel gently to the treatment area 30 minutes post-session to aid in bruise reduction. Tylenol is permissible, but refrain from Ibuprofen (Advil) or other blood thinners.

Avoid facials and facial massages for a minimum of 2 weeks post-treatment.

Results

Sculptra gradually helps restore your skin foundation, with results seen as early as 1 month after treatment and lasting up to 2 years, revealing natural-looking firmness and improved skin quality.

Frequency
